Baby Blue Eyes are a low-growing flower native to both California and Oregon.  This flower can be planted in an area that receives partial shade.  It can also be started indoors.  Baby Blue Eyes favor cool temperatures and moist soil and need to be planted in an area that does not receive direct sunlight but will still get some sun exposure.  The northern side of a building or structure would work well.  Baby Blue Eyes should be fall planted in zones 7-10 and will provide a burst of early spring color.
