Bentgrass – Creeping

Creeping Bentgrass has beautiful coloration and has dense growth. Because of its creeping nature, this grass can be mowed very short, which makes it a good choice to use in golf course greens and athletic fields. This type of Bentgrass has a shallow root system and becomes shaggy if it is not mowed often. Creeping Bentgrass is a cool climate grass, and it does not tolerate hot climates.

The broadcast rate for seeding is 2 – 2.5 pounds per acre.
