Fescue – Chewing’s

Chewing’s Fescue is a type of fine fescue that grows upright and has a high shade tolerance.  This fescue is best grown in the cooler climates of the northern United States and Canada.  It is a good seed variety to use for lawns because it establishes itself quicker than other types and it requires less mowing than other varieties and can be mowed down to 1.5 inches.
