Sunflower – Autumn Beauty
$2.50 – $22.00
Autumn Beauty is a blend of red, orange, and yellow sunflowers that all have black centers to them. The Autumn Beauty Sunflower grows up to 7 feet tall and offers blooms that are 10 inches in diameter. Sunflowers make good cut flowers, are drought tolerant, and require a lot of sun to grow. Birds often flock to sunflowers because they provide a substantial amount of food for them. Planting should be done in the spring, after the danger of frost is past. Some similarly tall varieties of sunflowers include: ‘Lemon Queen’ and ‘Velvet Queen’. The ‘Sunspot‘ variety is a much shorter, is yellow in-color, and stands between 2 and 3 feet tall.
