Daisy – Tahoka
$2.50 – $120.00
Tahoka Daisy is also known as Prairie Aster. It is a rapidly growing native herb. We classify this species as an annual, though in some situations its growth habit can be better defined as a biennial. Once Tahoka Daisy has germinated the plants will develop rapidly and mature around 2 feet tall. Plant this in medium textured soils and in regions that receive 18-24 inches of rainfall annually. Keep in mind that while this species is moderately drought tolerant, it is intolerant of saline soils and shade. Although it has lower seedling vigor, its extensive root system is conducive for certain native soil stabilization projects.
