Cascade Extreme Turf Mix

This mix is a combination of the top three superior cool-season species of turf type grasses.  It has superior texture, tolerance of cold and shade, and tread durability.  It is well suited for the Northern and Central zones throughout North America.

Ingredients: Ryegrass – Perennial (Turf-Type), Bluegrass – Kentucky, Fescue – Red Creeping Evergreen

Seeding rates:

• To sow a new turf lawn:  150 – 200 lb./acre
• To over-seed an existing lawn:  75 – 100 lb./acre

Less than one-acre rates:

32,670 sq. ft = 3/4 acre = 113 to 150 lbs for a new seeding/ 57 to 75 lbs for over-seeding

21,780 sq. ft  =  1/2 acre = 75 to 100 lbs for a new seeding/ 38 to 50 lbs for over-seeding

10,890 sq. ft = 1/4 acre = 38 to 50 lbs for a new seeding/ 19 to 25 lbs for over-seeding

5,445 sq. ft = 1/8 acre = 19 to 25 lbs for a new seeding/ 10 to 13 lbs for over-seeding
