It is best suited to provide valuable, balanced feed for grazing livestock. Harvesting it for hay could be difficult, due to its uncommonly high moisture content. In locations that observe drier climate conditions, this mix may require irrigation to produce optimum results, but this highly fertile pasture crop may make the extra work worth it.
