Cascade Perennial Wildflower Mix

This is a mix of flowers that are mostly perennial, but it contains some annual varieties that will typically reseed themselves every year.  It will do well in any garden setting and will provide a breadth color that will last late into the blooming season.  If planting is spread out over a number of weeks, it will aid in the flowering of fresh blooms throughout the season to provide more prolonged, vibrant color.  This mix will require full sun to partial shade and some water.

*Just a note about perennials:  Most perennials will not bloom the first year they are planted.  They establish a plant the first year and then bloom the second and every year after that.  Annuals will give you color the first year you plant them and then can reseed themselves if they like where they are growing.   This is why perennials tend to be more expensive.  It takes twice as long to get seed off of the plant than an annual when initially planting.  We have put some annuals that tend to reseed themselves in this mix so you can see some color the first year you plant it.
